Enjoy your breakfast at the hotel today before we head out for a half-day city tour in Dubai.
We explore the fun and magnificent sides of Dubai in person and stop at Burj Al Arab Hotel for a photo stop. This hotel is so luxurious, it’s been named the world’s only seven-star hotel and an icon of Arabian luxury, costing an average of over $2,000 per night. It’s best known for the yacht-like construction that’s built slightly into the sea on a crescent-shaped manmade island – the Palm Island – and the One-Way Monorail (The Gateway) access that connects the Palm Island to the Atlantis.
As we leave the island, we’ll take the Sheikh Zayed Road that’s known as the major highway connecting the seven emirates, the longest road in UAE. It is the busiest road in Dubai and brings you an incredible view of the city, the famous skyline of Dubai.
We head to what has to be one of the most popular tourist attractions, Dubai Mall, a shopping mall in Dubai that’s also known as the second largest mall in the world after the Iran Mall. There are more than 1,200 retail outlets here, located just next to the Burj Khalifa with many restaurants and stores to visit and explore. The world’s largest aquarium is located in here and it’s also connected to Burj Khalifa, serving as the grand entrance to the place.
We’ll visit Burj Khalifa, the famous building known as the tallest in the world. So tall is this building that it’s famous among Muslims for having three different fasting schedules during Ramadan because the sun sets later on higher floors. It finished construction in 2010 and is a centrepiece for Downtown Dubai with many things to see. The outdoor observation deck of this building is certainly out of this world, as it’s the world’s highest outdoor observation deck at 452m height on the 124th floor. And around the tower is the Burj Khalifa Park, an 11-hectare of garden with flowers and beautiful fountains in the centre.
By 7PM, we’ll head back down to the level of Dubai Fountains for a 10-minute show of the world’s largest fountain before we take you out for a pure veg/jain dinner at Indian Restaurant. We transfer back to the hotel after dinner for overnight stay in Dubai.
